American Independent Party and Constitution Party members:
I have decided to run for U.S. Representative in Congress, California District 11, in the upcoming June 2010 Primary Election as an AIP and CP member and upon their platforms.
I have been operating an unofficial web site for the CP in California for just over a year now, and plan to use it for my campaign:
http://www.constitutionpartyca.org/
The web site runs on a low-cost ($10/month) shared hosting account at Hurricane Electric (http://he.net/) and uses the open-source content management system Drupal (http://drupal.org/). It provides registered users with a number of useful features (forums, pages, blogs, file upload/download, etc.), but sometimes the server is slow. I invite you all to join. Fellow AIP/CP California candidates who endorse the CP platform are welcome to use the site for their campaigns.
Again, I will not be soliciting or accepting "campaign contributions", other than volunteer AIP labor to circulate my Petition in Lieu of Filing Fee. I hereby volunteer my labor for same to other AIP candidates whose district I reside in.
I look forward to another campaign season, and believe that the unprecedented problems America faces due to the failed leadership of the Democrats and Republicans provides an unprecedented opportunity for third parties. I thank you for your support, encouragement, and guidance; past, present, and future.
Sincerely yours,
David Christensen
